1900's Partially Uncut Edwardian Beadwork Sequinned Net Bodice Applique Panels
A complete Edwardian era black sequin and beadwork net bodice overlay, partially uncut. It looks to be front closing with a pointed waist and scalloped neckline. The fourth piece on top is another front, with a number of beads and sequins missing. This fourth piece could certainly be repurposed for making additional pieces or repairs to the other panels if needed.
The sequins are likely celluloid/gelatin, and have a slight whitish bloom, likely from improper storage in plastic at one point. The beads are black glass, the netting and stitching looks to be cotton.
It should fit a 35.5" bust, or approximately a modern size 8 mannequin.
