1930's Old Hollywood Periwinkle Coloured Lace Bias Cut Dress with Slip and Hanging Sleeves
A 1930's periwinkle blue coloured slip on party dress, in good condition. The lace overlay is fairly fragile, and the dress is best used as a reference piece. Unfortunately it looks like the shoulders were badly mended by obvious machine stitching, in an attempt to piece the lace back together.
The matching slip also has some wear to the shoulder straps, and some holes in the material, possibly from a fit alteration. There are a number of rips and holes in the lace throughout the dress, as shown. The dress has a neck vent closure with gores in the skirt for shaping.
It is shown on a modern size 2 mannequin, and measures 35" bust, 27" waist, 37" hips, with a slightly raised waistline.
