1960's Pale Yellow Evening Gown with Beaded Bodice
A 1960's pale yellow shantung evening gown, in very good condition. There has been some minor bead loss, the worst of which has been mitigated with mending. The top of the bodice is lined with sheer material, the rest of the dress is lined with more substantial yellow synthetic material. The hem is fairly wide, so the dress was likely shortened at some point.
It has no tags inside, so was likely a custom/handmade piece. It fits a modern size 8, and measures 36" bust, 32" waist, 38" hips, 46" in length from nape of neck to hem.
