1970’s Black Stretch Knit Dress with Capelet
A 1970’s black stretch knit dress with a tiered skirt and shoulder capelet, in excellent condition. The hems are edged in white overlocked thread.
The seams inside are unfinished, as the material is likely a cotton spandex blend that doesn’t fray so much as curl at the edges when cut.
The dress looks commercially made, but any original tags have been cut out.
The dress is shown on a size 10 mannequin, and measures 44” bust, 39” waist, 46” hips, 47” in length from nape of neck to hem.
