1960's Black Mr. Mort Three Tiered Cocktail Dress

$90.44

A lovely late 1960’s three tiered black dress, Mr. Mort brand, with a bow and self covered buttons in back, all to hide the center back metal zipper. A couple of marks from deodorant on underarms, and some marks, possibly from a pin on one of the shoulder seams.

Was quite a well made dress in its time, and has just seen wear from use. The buttons are self covered, and the buttonholes are machine bound with self fabric. Edging all finished with black taffeta seam binding,

The last inch and a half of the zipper has fraying to the lapped fabric, likely due to material catching in the teeth.

The material feels like a ribbed faux silk, and the lining is a lightweight synthetic satin.

Measures 36” bust, 31” waist, 34” hips, 28” in length.
