Late 1960’s Black Dress with Sheer Sleeves
A late 1960’s black cocktail dress, in very good condition. Has been repaired on a few occasions, the hem has been redone, and the sleeves reattached where they were ripped at the armhole. Has two hook and eye sets under the bows, to cover over the metal zipper.
One of the cuffs is damaged, fraying at the seam allowance, has been repaired where possible. The sleeve fabric is very delicate by nature, and can be damaged easily. The bodice is darted for shaping.
The material is a synthetic crepe, the sleeves are synthetic organza.
Measures 30” bust, 25” waist, 30” hips, 21” sleeve, 27” in length.
