Late 1960’s Teal and Gold Metallic Nouvelle Orleans Long Sleeve Evening Dress
A lovely empire waisted evening dress from the late 1960’s, with a gold lame overlay, turquoise underneath. The waistline is gold braid, and has a center back zipper. The material is quite synthetic, likely a polyester or rayon.
The bodice is shaped with darts, and the cuffs close with snaps. The dress is sewn flatbacked, so can easily be altered if necessary. There are some construction/fit issues with the sheer overlay on the skirt, the material doesn't sit quite smoothly in all sections as shown.
