1940's Cream Satin Wedding Dress with Long Sleeves and Buttons
A 1940's vintage cream satin wedding dress in very good condition. There is some wear and staining to the right sleeve and minor rust staining on both the bodice and hem. The dress looks to be largely hand stitched, with some machine construction. It's also possible that this was a 1930's dress which got reworked during the war years.
Some of the hardware was also replaced as part of restoration due to rusting metal, such as the snaps on the cuffs and side opening.
The dress is very small, and fits a size 00-0, but is fragile so is best used as a study/reference piece. We have other wedding dresses and veils in stock from a variety of decades as well.
