1920's Ivory Silk and Lace Tea Length Dress with Silk Flower Accents
A tea length 1920’s ivory silk and lace dress with wax flower accents. The condition is good for its age, but there is some shattering to the silk at the shoulders, as well as some rips to the lace. Damage has been noted in the pics, but this dress is best used for study/reference due to the fragile nature of the materials.
The lace is in very good condition, and has been repaired in sections. The silk has a few marks, both from stains and small burns.
The armhole binding has been replaced with ivory silk satin. The armholes are cut quite low, with the lace dress underneath. The dress closes with multiple hooks/eyes and snap sets as shown, suggesting that it is from the earlier half of the 1920’s.
The dress measures 35.5” bust, 30” waist, 36” hips, 39” in length, 9.5” long sleeves.
