1880's Plus Sized Lace Trimmed White Cotton Petticoat with Tucks and Ruffles
An 1880’s-90’s era white cotton petticoat, in very good condition. There are a few sporadic holes and discoloured marks, likely rust stains. There looks to be no hook/eye or button closure at the waistband, so it was likely tied or pinned shut.
The trim is attached to a flouce to give extra volume at the hem, this petticoat is largely flat at the front with gatehring in the rear, where it also closes.
