1890's Maroon Velvet Collar/Bodice Insert with Satin Backing
A 1880's to early 90's velvet russet coloured collar/bodice insert with satin backing. The condition is very good, it has some mended sections as shown.
It fits a 14" neck circumference when fully closed, and measures 8" down center front.
It closes up centre front with metal hooks and eyes, and was likely meant to be added onto dresses. We have many more collars including lace and beaded pieces, both in the shop and soon to be posted.
