1940’s Lace Wedding Dress with Satin Slip and Headpiece

$161.11

A lovely 1940’s lace wedding dress, in very good condition, with its original slip and matching headpiece. Some condition flaws, the lace headpiece is missing its likely tulle veil, there are a few stains/frayed spots on the lace dress, and the slip’s straps have stretched overtime. We do have a few vintage tulle veils in stock as well, including cathedral length and circular styles that could be added on if preferred.

It looks like it was made in the 1930’s, and then reworked for a wartime wedding.

The slip is an example of piecing due to fabric shortages, with some strategic piecing.

The dress has a side zip and functioning buttons in front.

The lace overdress measures 32” bust, 27” waist, 38” hips, 21” sleeve, and 56” in length down center back.
