A handmade 1780's inspired caraco bodice and ruffle trimmed petticoat. The skirt has pocket slits, and is worn with ties secured around front and back, making it nearly one size fits all. Padding has been shown under the skirt, as this style wears well with stays and small panniers underneath.
The bodice closes up the front, with antique black glass buttons. The buttonholes are handworked, and much of the internal finishing details are also hand stitched. The piecing construction is mostly by machine.
