1800’s Regency Style Black and White Floral Williamsburg Cotton Half Sleeved Drop Front Dress
A regency inspired black and white floral Williamsburg replica print cotton day dress, with full lining and vintage glass buttons. We stock other ready to order regency dresses in the shop, as well as bonnets, caps and fichus.
It fits a modern size 12-14, and is a drop front closing dress. The bodice is gathered with cord and is accented with a black decorative cotton belt and antique mother of pearl buckle. The bodice under layer closes up center front with hooks and eyes, and is ideally worn with short/long stays and a petticoat. The dress is hemmed with black twill tape.
The train is weighted, to help maintain shape when walking in the dress.
The hand finished fichu is also available for sale separately, and is an oversized rectangle style, with a slit cut for the neckline.
It measures as shown, 40” bust, 40” underbust, 15" long sleeves, 11" across back, 59" in length from centre front from collar bone to floor and 69” in centre back length from nape of neck to hem.
