1800's Regency Style Handmade Floral Short Gown Spencer Jacket with Peplum
An 1800's style printed cotton spring weight Spencer/short gown, handmade by us as a OOAK piece. The material is vintage printed textured cotton, the lining is cream coloured lightweight linen. The neckline is adjustable with a satin ribbon drawstring, the jacket closes up centre front with vintage bent wire hooks and eyes. The armholes are bound with linen, the cuffs and front facing are self fabric.
The seams finishes are hand whipstitched, and flat felled for reinforcement.
It fits a modern size 8-10 as shown. It measures 36” bust, 34” underbust/waistband. The slightly bent shaped sleeves are 22" in length, the jacket is 21" in length down centre back, from nape of neck to hem.
