An early 1830’s inspired handmade printed cotton calico day dress, with a scalloped lace neckline trim. The dress closes up the back, with large hooks and eyes. The waistband belt is decorated with an antique abalone shell buckle.

The petticoat is optionally included, the dress is best worn with the correct undergarments to achieve the correct period silhouette (i.e. chemise, corset, corded petticoat, sleeve plumpers etc.)
The dress is all cotton, with a stiffened vintage beige cotton lining. The petticoat is heavyweight white cotton twill, trimmed with cotton eyelet lace at the hem.
This dress fits a modern size 12, and 38” bust, 33” waist, hips free, and is 54” in length from nape of neck to hem, with 25” sleeves.
