A historic style handmade Robe a La Franchise style gown stomacher and petticoat, in the rococo/colonial era style. The pattern is based on reference material from Fort Louisborg.
The bodice is open front, meant to be pinned to the stomacher as shown. The lining is sheer linen, the outer material is a historically styled cotton calico. The petticoat, stomacher and cuff linings are all white cotton.

The costume fits a modern size , but can be adjusted for fit as needed with the drawstring lining as shown.
As shown, the outfit fits a modern size 12-14, and measures 40" bust, 31” waist, hips free when fully laced as shown, with 15” sleeves not including the engagements. The skirt side seam length is 46" in length to account for panniers, with the pocket slits as shown. The skirt back from waist to hem is 47" in length with a slight train. The stomacher measures 9" wide at the top, 13.5" in length. The piece as a whole is very adjustable for fit. The petticoat is 41" in length and fits most waists.
