1970's Inspired Handmade HBC Blanket Coat Made From Upcycled Vintage Blanket
A Pincushion Costuming coat made from a vintage 1960's HBC point blanket and vintage cotton lining. The blanket, being vintage, has some condition flaws, which have been cut around where possible. It is darted at the shoulders, and cut straight through the bodice. The lining is white cotton, the buttonholes are handworked. The buttons are antique mother of pearl.
It is shown on a size 10 mannequin, and measures 44” bust, 45” waist, 49” hips, 29” in length and 22” long sleeves.
