An 1840's early Victorian style handmade printed cotton day dress, with ruffled shoulders and a lace trimmed neckline. It is lined with vintage material, exact fibre content unknown. It closes up the back with vintage metal finish buttons, the buttonholes are handworked. The neckline closes with a drawstring.
The seams are pinked, the bodice is flatlined. The skirt is unlined and the selvages left intact on the seams. The bodice is shaped with gathering and darts.
