1890’s Black Leather Buttoned Boots
A pair of good condition black leather 1890’s buttoned Victorian boots. The leather in the back of the boots is dried and cracking in spots, the leather sole has a few dents in it from use. There is a small rip in the top of one boot, as shown. The heels are hobnailled in place, as shown. The buttons are all original, and quite securely sewn on.
The shoelaces and buttonhook are included.
The inside of the boots are lined with beige cotton twill, and the tag inside reads Hanan and Son NY, EE Ballou CO Providence RI.
The boots are quite small and measure 10” end to end. They are 3” wide at the toe box, and the sole is 10.5” in length.
