Edwardian 1900's Black Silk Collapsible Opera Hat with Box
A circa 1900 French collapsible black silk mens opera top hat and box. The hat is in very good condition, apart from a split in the lining, likely due to the internal wire framing wearing through. The box is in fair condition, and has been repaired where possible, but has quite a lot of wear due to its age and materials.
The hat has a 22" internal circumference, which fits about a modern size 7 hat size. It measures 10" across, 5.5" tall. It collapses to 1" tall.
