Recovered Edwardian Topaz Orange Dupioni Silk Parasol Trimmed with Black Lace
An Edwardian parasol frame, which has a light finish natural wooden handle and with a restored silk and lace cover. The handle of the frame is ram's horn, with inlaid metal accents (most of which are missing, as shown.)
The silk is a slubbed dupioni, in a topaz orange colour. The black lace is synthetic, and vintage.
The canopy hem is hand finished, in a narrow rolled hem.
The strap secures with an antique Czech style black glass button.
It has eight ribs, which measure 26.5” in length. The parasol is 36.5” in length end to end.
