The original whalebone finial is as shown with the ring on top.
The handle is wooden, with a brass tube and single hinge.
The frame has no rust or significant damage, apart from some finish wear due to age and. The hinges are metal as show.
The original canopy was replaced due to the fabric splitting in multiple sections, and being beyond repair. The fringe is hand frayed fabric.
