Victorian Carriage Style Green Cotton Fringe Trimmed Cane Parasol
A restored Victorian era carriage parasol, with a restored green cotton and fringe trim canopy. The spokes are whalebone, the handle is wood/bamboo cane. The original finial is missing as shown.
The frame has no rust or significant damage, apart from some finish wear due to age and slight curving of the frame from use. The hinges are brass as show.
The original canopy was replaced due to the fabric splitting in multiple sections, and being beyond repair. The fringe is original. The hem edging is finished with green taffeta seam binding.
The parasol measures 28” end to end fully extended, with eight ribs that measure 12” in length.
